Mary Stone was born in Texas, United States. Her family has roots in Ireland, Germany and Italy. She began writing for the school newspaper at the age of 12. She studied art history in Los Angeles where she worked as a journalist for several years.
She now works professionally in historical research while preparing to publish her first collection of personal notes on the Late Bronze Age. In recent years she has taken up short biographies and is a member of the Trenfo research team.
